It is an extraordinary appeal to the Supreme Court. It is not for re-weighing all the evidence like a second instance.
It focuses on legal or procedural breaches and, in many jurisdictions, cassation interest.
That is why not every matter is admissible.
When does cassation make sense?
When there is a clear breach, conflicting case law or a real cassation-interest issue.
If the dispute is only about weighing evidence, it is usually a poor candidate.
